The option is to have one track, but that doesn't let them present enough variety to keep everyone happy. It's hard.

As far as expensive books go, I can relate. There's one I'd like right now, but it's $160 … used! Not going for it, even though it's highly regarded. Maybe they'll finally reprint it.

Clearly, you had an excellent time, and it sounds like this absolutely was good for you both personally and academically. It also sounds like you were a good presenter. Hopefully you'll have the chance to do more.
