Another mythologizing animal sharing a spark of intellectual passion!
A friend amusedly pointed out that I seem to be educationally following Arthur C. Clarke's "Odyssey" books: I graduated with a bachelor's in 2001, and with my master's in 2010. I laughed when he mentioned it, and later curiously checked. Weren't there supposed to be more books in the series? I was, after all, still going for my PhD. I discovered there are indeed two more books in the "Odyssey" series: 2061 and 3001.
Somehow I suspect I won't be waiting quite that long for the next degree… ;)
Bestiaries depict mythical, moralizing animals, but are also potential allegorical sparks that can bloom into brilliant mental bonfires. My bestiary is this mythologizing animal's fascinated exploration of beauty & meaning in the wonder of existence -- in the hopes of inspiring yet more joyous flares of intellectual passion.
